» Are reservations required for the City Bike Tour? What about the Berlin Wall Bike Tour or Third Reich Bike Tour?

Reservations are NOT required for our City Bike Tour. Just show up at our meeting at the TV Tower. If you feel more comfortable reserving a spot, however, you can do so here.

Reservations ARE required for either our Berlin Wall Bike Tour or Third Reich Bike Tour. Again, please make those reservations here. top

» How long do the tours last? What if I can't take part in the whole tour because of a previous engagement?

All of the tours last approximately 4.5 hours and each covers roughly 6 miles (9-10 kilometers). Should you need to leave the tour early (for a flight, previous engagement, etc), it's no problem, just let your guide know at the start of the tour so that we can make special arrangements. top

» I'm out of shape and/or haven't ridden a bike in years. Can I handle the tour?

No problem! Our tours are designed to be as easy as possible for anyone. We're only covering 6 or so miles in 4.5 hours - anyone can do these tours! Actually, you'll find yourself more energized at the end of the tour than at the start. Berlin is the perfect city to see by bike: huge, flat, and bike-friendly. top

» Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?

No. Our tours run rain or shine. The weather in Berlin can vary quickly, so you may want to bring a light jacket/jumper with you. We also do have rain ponchos available, as well as free loaner gloves should it be cold out. On tours below 10C/50F we do provide free hot tea during the tour. top

» What should I bring with me to the tour?

Just bring yourself and a smile, we'll take care of the rest. You may want to bring a camera as well as some extra cash for the beer garden/beer hall break (they do not take credit cards). You may also want to bring a light jacket/jumper, as the weather here can vary quickly. All bikes have luggage racks or baskets for your belongings. Anything you do not want to take with you on the tour you can leave with us at our shop.top

» How many people take part in the tours?

The number of people on the tour varies day-by-day, as no reservations are necessary. Our tours are very popular for very good reason (they're great tours!) so if the group gets too large we split the group at the meeting point into as many sub-groups as necessary. We have plenty of bikes and plenty of tour guides, so just sit back and we'll take care of the logistics. top

» Do we go inside the museums or monuments?

We cannot enter the monuments because German Law restricts museum guides to their authorized officials. Plus, some people would want to spend only ten minutes in the museum while others would prefer 3 hours. You will, however, have time to walk around some of the most important highlights at your discretion. For instance, on the City tour we provide time to explore Checkpoint Charlie, on the Berlin Wall tour you can peruse the Eastside Gallery at your leisure, and on the Third Reich tour you're given time to investigate the bombed-out Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. top

» Are the bike tours appropriate for children?

Absolutely! Families and kids are always welcome, as we're a great family activity. We have kids seats, kids bikes in various sizes, and kids chariot trailers. This way we can fit kids of all ages. The content of our tour is also neither vulgar nor too overbearing. You may want to drop us a quick email or call beforehand, as our number of kids bikes is of course limited.top
