Our native English speaking tour guides are extraordinary! They are extremely personable, very knowledgeable, and masters of group chemistry. As your “personal friend for a day”, they truly are the backbone of what makes Fat Tire tick. Not only do they know the stories behind the sites, but they present information in a way that helps you absorb the most possible.

We’re proud to boast our core line-up:

WOLF,
in his 7th season, is our Texan with a German degree emphasizing Germany's history. After relating too well to the movie "Office Space", he moved to Germany where his father and father's family are from.

RANDALL,
in his 5th season, hails from Brisbane, Australia yet spends his winters in Latin America helping underprivildged families. Extremely well-traveled and constantly reading more history, he relates history in a way you can absorb.

BLAKELY,
in his 3rd season, from Florida, specializes in Cold War / Berlin Wall history. When he's not leading tours he's at the forefront of Berlin's nightlife scene and can always provide info on Berlin's hottest spots. ´

JEFF,
in his 2nd season and also from Florida, returns to Berlin where he spent time interning as part of his German studies program. His smile is contagious and his knowledge of Berlin's history is extensive.

TOM,
in his 2nd season, joins us from Wales. His energy level is mind-boggling and he's alwys in good spirits, even when detailing the darkest times in Berlin's history - of which he's very conversant.

MARIELLE,
in her 2nd season, joins us from Colorado. Armed with a European Art History degree she started giving tours with our partners in Paris, but soon transferred her enthusiasm and contagious smile to us in Berlin.

INGO,
is a German American in every sense. The first American enrolled in an East Berlin school after the fall of the Berlin Wall, he's proud to share his many personal insights and anecdotes.

DOUG,
joins us from New York after receiving his history degree. Very well-read and a Third Reich expert, he joined us on a tour during his travels and we found his application in the mail soon thereafter.
